We believe that craft is for everybody. Too often, the opportunities for craft exploration and education become harder to find as we age out of schools. Marsden Brown exists to provide an online community for anyone who wants to rediscover their creativity, find new inspiration, or develop and share their skills in a variety of crafts. Our goal is to empower you to create and to make craft and the arts more accessible to all.

Fostering a Circular Economy
A circular economy is an approach to sustainability that focuses on repurposing, recycling, and reusing materials to recapture and thereby reduce waste. All of Marsden Brown's craft education prioritizes the creative reuse of materials. According to the EPA, material recovery plays an essential role in slowing climate change, as the extraction of natural resources and processing of new materials contributes to almost half of all global greenhouse gas emissions. By providing a space to teach, learn, and share creative ways to repurpose materials, Marsden Brown aims to foster a responsible community of craft that finds new and beautiful ways to expand the circular economy.
